Hey, I’m Jess and I have been a member of the team at Carshalton Osteopathic Surgery since graduating from the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) with a Masters in Osteopathy in 2011.

Becoming an osteopath felt like a very natural choice after spending much of my childhood and teenage years either on a pitch or court and then inevitably ending up on the treatment table at this very clinic! My interest was piqued further after observing my former colleagues Phil and Jenny whilst on work experience. My mind was made up and I decided to study osteopathy whilst continuing to play top level football in what was the Women’s National Premiership. Following graduation I decided to embark on a post graduate course at the Institute of Classical Osteopathy which helped me hone my skills in this branch of osteopathy. Fast forward a few years and I am now the co-owner of this well respected practice.

I am incredibly proud of my profession and of my team here at Carshalton Osteopathic Surgery. I believe that osteopathy is an amazing tool to help bring people back to health. In particular I like to treat lower back and pelvic dysfunctions. Quite often they can be the root to some wider spread issues which can be resolved if all the dots can be connected. Diagnosis is key, and from there I can use mechanics and the core osteopathic principles to return ease and health to my patients.
